Matthew Grove is an experienced engineer with a robust background in embedded systems and computer vision. Currently serving as the Hybrid-Navigation Manager at Sonardyne International Ltd since October 2023, Matthew previously held the position of Senior Embedded Engineer at Automata, where contributions were made to robotic automation solutions for the life sciences sector. Matthew has extensive experience at Sonardyne International Ltd, initially as a Computer Vision Engineer focused on underwater imaging technology and earlier as an Embedded Design Engineer developing software for various embedded platforms. Previous roles include Control Systems Engineer at DYNAMOMETER SERVICES GROUP LIMITED and Electrical & Control Systems Engineer at DSG Limited, with a strong foundation in C/C++ development, circuit design, and hardware-software integration. Matthew holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Engineering and Management from the University of Exeter.
