Sophio Japharidze

Sophio Japharidze is a Software Engineer with extensive experience in software development, currently working at Sonar since April 2022 on SonarLint, an IDE extension for identifying and resolving bugs and security issues. Prior to this role, Sophio contributed to the backend of Twilio Flex at Twilio from June 2020 to March 2022 and served as a Teaching Assistant for Agile Software Development courses at the University of Tartu while also holding positions as a Junior Software Engineer and Software Engineering Intern there. Earlier experience includes developing adaptive online courses for STEM subjects at Area9 Lyceum and serving as a Junior Software Engineer and Software Engineering Intern at MYJAR. Sophio holds a Master’s degree in Enterprise Software Engineering from the University of Tartu and a Bachelor’s degree in Integrated Engineering from TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology.
