Toufik Hakkar

Toufik Hakkar is currently the CEO of Sonatrach, but they got their start as an engineer teacher at Université des Sciences et de la Technologie 'Houari Boumediène'. Toufik worked there from November 1993 to March 2000 and was responsible for schooling data center, software development and maintenance, and data base administration. Toufik was also the HP system administrator. In their current position as CEO of Sonatrach, they are responsible for the overall management of the company.

Hakkar attended the Université des Sciences et de la Technologie 'Houari Boumediène' where they earned a degree in engineering with a focus in operational research. Toufik also attended the Berlitz English language program where they earned a level 8 certification.
