Jaime Alcántara

Jaime Alcántara has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.

In 2011, Jaime worked as a HiWi at the Technische Universität Darmstadt, where they developed a GUI in Matlab for motion characteristic curves. This position lasted for 2 months.

In 2011-2012, Jaime completed their Master's thesis in R&D at Mercedes-Benz AG.

In 2012-2013, Jaime participated in the CAReer Talent Program at Mercedes-Benz AG as an After Sales Engineer.

From 2013-2014, Jaime worked as a Remanufacturing Engineer at Mercedes-Benz AG.

In 2014-2017, Jaime served as a Systems Integration Engineer in Overall E/E-Functions at Mercedes-Benz AG.

From 2017-2019, Jaime held the role of E/E Strategist to the EVP at Mercedes-Benz AG.

In 2019-2020, Jaime founded and served as the CEO of Beatmytrip, a startup focused on improving and socializing travel experiences. They were responsible for customer research, app design, MVP validation, and strategy.

Finally, in 2020-present, Jaime is a Senior Product Manager at Sonatus, followed by a prior role as a Product Manager from 2020.

Jaime Alcántara has a diverse education history. Jaime began their studies at Deutsche Schule Madrid (German School of Madrid) from 1994 to 2006, where they obtained their Abitur degree in the field of General studies. Following this, they attended Universidad Pontificia Comillas from 2006 to 2012 and obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree. Their field of study during this period was in Industrial Engineering with a focus on electronics. Additionally, from 2010 to 2012, Jaime pursued further education at Technische Universität Darmstadt and obtained an MSc. degree in Control Engineering. In 2016, they obtained a Video Producer certification from Deutsche POP.
