Matthias Loeser

Matthias Loeser has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Matthias is currently working as the Director of Test Engineering at Sonatus, where they have been since 2021. Prior to this role, they were a Staff Engineer at Sonatus, where they contributed to the development of software-defined vehicle solutions.

Before joining Sonatus, Matthias worked at Cisco for a significant portion of their career. Starting from 2000, they held various roles at Cisco, including Sr. Technical Leader, Technical Leader, Manager of Software Engineering, and Software Engineer. Their responsibilities involved leading teams, developing and maintaining the Linux kernel and 3rd party software ecosystem, automating patching vulnerabilities, and contributing to platform bringup and diagnostic features for the unified computing system.

Matthias also gained internship experience at IRT in 1999, where they completed their thesis on real-time data transmission over ATM networks.

Throughout their career, Matthias has demonstrated their expertise in software engineering, diagnostics, embedded systems, and networking technologies.

Matthias Loeser obtained their Bachelors in Electrical Engineering (EE) from the Technical University of Munich, where they studied from 1992 to 1995. Following that, they pursued a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering and Media Technologies at the Technische Universität Ilmenau from 1996 to 1999.
