Janae Larrimer

Janae Larrimer has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Their most recent position was as an Associate Billing Manager at SonderMind, where they managed a remote team across multiple time zones, overseeing insurance collections. Janae was also passionate about mentoring their team and ensuring their success. Prior to that, they worked at the University of Colorado Boulder as a Program and Accounting Manager in the Veteran and Military Affairs department. In this role, they were responsible for creating formal processes and procedures aligned with the strategic plan, identifying areas for growth, and supervising a team of seven employees. Before that, Janae held various positions at the University of Iowa, including Accountant and Conference Coordinator, where they performed accounting tasks, managed conferences, and coordinated administrative duties. Additionally, they worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Iowa and as a Government and Public Relations Intern at Iowa Communications Network.

Janae Larrimer pursued their education at the University of Iowa, where they obtained a BA degree in Sociology with a minor in Communication Studies between the years 2004 and 2007. Later, they attended the University of Colorado Boulder, where they obtained a Master of Engineering degree in Engineering Management from 2016 to 2019. In addition to their degrees, they also obtained a certification in Project Management from the University of Colorado Boulder in December 2019.
