Shayna Miller

Shayna Miller has a diverse work experience. Shayna is currently working at SonderMind as a Mental Health Therapist since December 2022. Prior to that, they worked at ALTERNATIVE HOMES FOR YOUTH, where they held the positions of Executive Director from November 2019 until present, and Development Director from May 2019 to November 2019. Before that, they worked at Regis University College for Professional Studies as an Affiliate Faculty since January 2010. From February 2018 to May 2019, they worked at the State of Colorado as the Director of Facility Operations. Shayna also had a long-term role at Alternative Homes for Youth as the Executive Director from April 2001 to February 2018. Additionally, they have experience as an Affiliate Faculty at the University of Phoenix from July 2005 to November 2010.

Shayna Miller has a strong educational background in counseling psychology and religious studies. Shayna completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion/Religious Studies at the University of Colorado Boulder from 1993 to 1997. Following that, they pursued their Master of Arts degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology at Naropa University, which they completed from 1997 to 2000.

In addition to their degrees, Shayna has obtained certifications in the field of counseling. Shayna is a Certified Addictions Counselor and holds a license as a Licensed Professional Counselor, both obtained from DORA (Department of Regulatory Agencies).
