Souhad Chbeir's work experience begins with their role as a Research Scientist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center from October 2016 to June 2019. They then worked as a Mental Health Therapist at US Together, Inc from November 2019 to December 2021 and at Nationwide Children's Hospital from January 2020 to December 2021. After that, they joined SonderMind as a Mental Health Therapist in January 2022. Currently, Souhad holds the position of Early Life Stress and Resilience Program Assistant at Stanford University, starting from April 2022.

Souhad Chbeir completed their education in a diverse range of fields. Souhad began with a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from the American University of Beirut, which they obtained from 1988 to 1991. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Neuroscience from the same university, attending from 1992 to 1995. Later, Souhad obtained a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University at Buffalo, studying from 1999 to 2004. Their academic journey continued with a Master's degree in Clinical Pharmacology from The Ohio State University, which they completed between 2014 and 2015.

Souhad's educational pursuits also extended to the mental health field. Souhad achieved a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling-Art Therapy from Lesley University between 2015 and 2018. Furthermore, they acquired an Advanced Certificate in Serving Veterans and their Families from The Ohio State University in 2019.

Seeking further specialization, Souhad pursued a Certification in Trauma-Informed Clinical Practice from New York University between 2021 and 2022. These diverse educational experiences have equipped Souhad Chbeir with a breadth of knowledge in various areas, notably in biochemistry, neuroscience, nursing, mental health counseling, and trauma-informed clinical practice.
