Colin Crubaugh

Colin Crubaugh started their work experience in 2007 as an intern at Farm Bureau Insurance. In 2009, they worked as a Freelance Web Designer at Crubaugh Design and Development and also as a Graphic and Web Designer at Fix-it-All Carpentry. From 2010 to 2011, they worked part-time as a Sales Associate at The North Face. In 2011, Colin joined Brooksource as a Telecommunications Analyst and later worked at Community Health Network as a Unified Communications Analyst from 2011 to 2020. During their time at Community Health Network, they also worked as a Cisco Telephony Tech III. In 2020, they joined Sondhi Solutions as a Senior Consultant / Cyber Security, where they led cyber control assessments and improved the cybersecurity posture of Indiana municipalities and local governments.

Colin Crubaugh has a strong educational background in the field of cybersecurity and information assurance. Colin earned their Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University, completing their studies from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2010, Colin attended Purdue University where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Graphics Technology. Before their time at Purdue, Colin attended Carmel Highschool from 2001 to 2005, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned.

In addition to their formal education, Colin has obtained several certifications that enhance their qualifications in the field. These include the Certified Internet Web Professional Web Foundations Associate (CIW) from Certification Partners (CIW) in May 2019, the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from Axelos in April 2019, and the CompTIA IT Operations Specialist – CIOS Stackable Certification from CompTIA in December 2020. Colin also holds the Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) certification from (ISC)², which they obtained in February 2023. Furthermore, they have achieved the CompTIA Security+ ce Certification, CompTIA Network+, and CompTIA A+ certifications from CompTIA in July 2021, December 2020, and September 2019 respectively.
