Bob Goldstein is Sonen Capital’s Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for the overall management of the firm, including the execution of its strategic goals. He is a member of the firm’s investment committee.
Prior to joining Sonen, Bob was Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of RCM Capital Management’s San Francisco office. RCM was a global investment management firm with over $125B in assets under management in both the institutional and retail market (RCM has since been rebranded Allianz Global Investors). While at RCM, Bob Chaired the U.S. Management Committee, and was a member of the Global Executive Committee, the Global Sales and Marketing Committee, and the Global Business Management Committee. Bob has extensive experience in strategic planning and execution, and operations management. Before assuming the role of CEO in 2010, Bob served as RCM San Francisco’s Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel.
Prior to RCM, Bob was an Associate in the New York, London, and Prague offices of Weil, Gotshal & Manges, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, corporate transactions and investment management matters.
Bob is on the board of the NCGA Foundation (“Youth On Course”), a non-profit organization that provides opportunities for youth to build life skills and values through golf. He is also on the board of the Northern California Golf Association, one of the largest golf associations in the US. He holds a B.A. from Hobart College and graduated from Brooklyn Law School, where he was a member of the Law Review.
