Gerardo Jaramillo

Gerardo Jaramillo has diverse work experience in microfabrication, MEMS engineering, and device engineering. Gerardo is currently working as a Sr. Device Engineer at Sonera Magnetics, Inc. since 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Microfabrication Lead at Bleximo Corp. from December 2021 to April 2023 and as a Microfabrication Engineer from November 2018 to December 2021. Gerardo was also a Co-Founder at Picosense, Inc. from January 2015 to November 2018. Earlier, they served as a Sr MEMS Engineer at InvenSense, Inc. from 2013 to 2015, where their responsibilities included testing and characterization of devices and working closely with project leaders and senior design engineers to bring new products into volume production.

Gerardo Jaramillo earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Davis in 2006. Gerardo then obtained a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the same university in 2008. From 2008 to 2012, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering also from the University of California, Davis.
