Dave Campbell

Dave Campbell is a seasoned engineering professional currently serving as the Regional Director of Engineering at Sonesta Hotels since January 2023. Previously, Dave held the position of West Coast Regional Director of Engineering at Hersha Hospitality Management from 2015 to January 2023, overseeing engineering operations for 15 hotels across a diverse geographical area. Dave also contributed significantly at Courtyard by Marriott San Diego Downtown as Director of Engineering/Security from September 2008 to January 2015, where notable achievements included developing utility-funded energy savings projects and improving the hotel's Energy Star rating. Dave's career commenced as Chief Engineer at Sycuan Casino, where responsibilities included overseeing maintenance operations for a busy casino and contributing to a major construction project. Dave holds a Bachelor of Computer Technology degree from Coleman College and has received several awards and nominations for excellence in energy management and service within the hospitality industry, along with leadership roles in various industry associations.
