Ty Morse has had a long and varied career in the entertainment industry. Ty began their career in 2004 as Creative Services in the Discovery Production Group for the Discovery Channel. In 2005, they co-founded Royalty, Etc. Records and in 2006 they worked in marketing and promotion for Virgin Records. In 2008, they became the CEO of Songwhale and in 2011 they joined the board of the Media Association of Pittsburgh and became an adjunct professor at Carnegie Mellon University's Entertainment Technology Center. In 2014 they became the CEO of BigSmile Products, LLC and in 2016 they founded Time Horse Productions, a film company focused on telling stories about people on the periphery. In 2017, they became the owner of Kessel Limited.
Ty Morse attended Davidson College from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a BS and BA in Literature and Biology, respectively.
