Bernie S. has extensive work experience in the accounting field. From 2009 to present, Bernie S. has held various roles at Sonic Automotive, including Director of Shared Services - General Accounting, Senior Manager of Shared Services - General Accounting, General Accounting Manager at the Shared Services Center, Dealership Accounting Manager, and Senior Compliance Manager. Prior to this, Bernie S. worked as an Audit Manager at Deloitte & Touche from 2002 to 2009, specializing in the automotive retail industry. Bernie S. also worked as a Writer/Editor/Research Assistant at the School of Accountancy and Information Systems, BYU from 2002 to 2004.

Bernie S. attended Brigham Young University from 1992 to 2002. During this time, they earned a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, as well as a Minor in Spanish.
