Operations and Captial Projects Manager at Sonic Electronix

Matthew DiPalma has held a variety of positions in the past decade. From 2013-2015, they worked as an Engineering Intern at Dunkirk Specialty Steel, LLC. Matthew then moved on to Universal Stainless & Alloy Products Inc, where they held the roles of Specification and Process Analyst and Industrial Engineer Intern from 2015-2019. In 2019, they became the Quality Control Manager at Modern Industries Inc. and, as of 2021, they are the Operations and Capital Projects Manager at Sonic Electronix. In this role, they have sharpened existing operations and spearheaded a plethora of new operational projects for four separate companies under the same corporate entity. Matthew also single-handedly submitted and obtained FDA approval for two hospital grade surgical masks and developed the Quality Management System needed to produce the masks in the USA. Matthew supervises the Warehouse Manager, Customer Care Technicians (CCT), Operations team, and Returns department while tracking key performance indicators to reduce labor and improve efficiency.

Matthew DiPalma has obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the State University of New York at Fredonia, an Associate of Science in Individual Studies from Jamestown Community College, and a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from Western Governors University, which they are currently studying for. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from the Manufacturer & Business Association in Supervisory Skills I, II, III, IV, and V in March 2020, and from Pratt & Whitney in LCS (Laboratory Control at Source) in May 2017.
