Evan Muir

Evan Muir has worked in various roles throughout their career. Evan is currently serving as the Head of Experience Design at Sonic Healthcare since January 2023. Prior to this, from July 2020 to December 2022, they worked as a User Experience Lead at IONYX. Evan also worked at Symplicit as a Senior Experience Designer from June 2019 to July 2020, Squiz as a Senior UX Designer from July 2016 to June 2019, and at Human Ventures as a Senior Designer/Arts Facilitator from June 2013 to July 2016. Before that, they held the position of Senior Designer at HutSix from August 2010 to 2013. Their earlier roles include serving as Creative Director at GBST from January 2005 to September 2008 and at PeterReaDesignMarketing from July 2002 to June 2005.

Evan Muir obtained a Diploma of Graphic Design & Multimedia from the Institute for Design in 2001-2002. In 2008, they attended the Nielson Norman Group to study Website Usability. In 2018, they furthered their education by studying User Experience Design at Peak XD.
