Caitlin Schneider began their career in 2008 as a Research Intern at Intuitive Surgical. In 2009, they became a Master's Student at UBC Robotics and Control Lab (RCL) and a Research Assistant at the University of British Columbia. In 2011, they became a PhD Candidate at The University of British Columbia, where they worked with Drs Salcudean and Rohling to improve the use of medical imaging before and during surgery. In 2019, they were appointed Lead of Clinical Development at Sonic Incytes Medical Corp.
Caitlin Schneider completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at The Johns Hopkins University from 2005 to 2009. Caitlin then went on to obtain their MaSc in Electrical Engineering at The University of British Columbia from 2009 to 2011.
