Nathan Horton

Core Laboratory Technical Director at Sonic Reference Laboratory

Nathan Horton has a diverse work experience in various industries. Starting in 2005, they worked as a Microbiology Technician at Analytical Food Labs, where they conducted microbiological analysis of food samples. From 2006 to 2014, they pursued a PhD and Masters degree at UNT Health Science Center, specializing in cancer immunology. During this time, they conducted independent research projects, managed a lab, and trained students in molecular biology and immunology techniques. Additionally, they worked as a Molecular Biology and Immunology Tutor at the Center for Academic Performance from 2010 to 2013. In 2014, they joined Sonic Reference Laboratory as the Core Laboratory Technical Director, responsible for various laboratory operations including test methodology selection and financial efficiency.
