Marty K. has over 25 years of experience in engineering. Marty started their career in 1993 with an internship as a Process Engineer at Yellow Springs Incorporated, where they assisted with the development of an automated system used to manufacture thermistors and operated manufacturing equipment. From 1997 to 2010, Marty worked for GE Nuclear Energy as a Project Manager, developing and field delivering projects focused on BWR internals modification and replacement. Marty then moved on to Westinghouse Electric Japan, where they worked as a Manufacturing Oversight Engineer from 2010 to 2013. In this role, they performed in-process surveillance of the fabrication of nuclear reactor components, evaluated components for conformity to drawings and fabrication specifications, and identified concerns with components relative to downstream manufacturing activities and design functionality. Marty's most recent work experience was at System One, where they worked as a Consulting Engineer from 2013 to 2015.

Marty K. attended North Catholic High School and then went on to pursue a Mechanical Engineering Tech degree from the University of Dayton, which they completed in 1997.
