Ari Shagal

Ari Shagal is a versatile composer, orchestrator, arranger, music theorist, lyricist, keyboardist, vocalist, and comedienne, with an extensive career spanning from July 2003 to the present as a self-employed artist. Shagal has a background in academia, having served as a Lecturer at Olive-Harvey College from August 2004 to May 2005, where a survey course in the Humanities was developed and taught. Additionally, experience includes serving as Music Director for Child's Play Touring Theatre from December 2002 to December 2003, where Shagal set poems by elementary-aged students to music for interactive performances. Education was obtained at the University of Chicago.
