Alex Dubrovsky

Vice President Of Software Engineering & Threat Research at SonicWall

Alex Dubrovsky has extensive work experience in software engineering and threat research. Alex is currently the Vice President of Software Engineering & Threat Research at SonicWall Inc., where they are responsible for Deep Packet Inspection Technology, security software development, and vulnerability/malware/application classification research. Alex leads the development of the RTDMI malware sandboxing engine and manages the Capture Labs threat research team. Prior to this role, Alex held positions as the Executive Director and Director of Software Engineering & Threat Research at SonicWall Inc. Alex joined the company in 2002 as a Sr./Staff Software Engineer and Technical Lead. Before joining SonicWall Inc., Alex worked as a Software Engineer at Blue Coat from 2000 to 2002.

Alex Dubrovsky completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Engineering at UCLA from 1994 to 1998. Later, from 1998 to 1999, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at UCLA.
