Saravanan Babu

Saravanan Babu has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and testing. Saravanan started their career at Cisco Systems, Inc in 2000, where they worked as a Technical Lead. There, they validated FCoE features on Cisco Data Center products and also validated NIV on Nexus 6K. In 2013, they joined Dell SonicWALL as a Software Dev-Test Principal Engineer. In this role, they wrote Sanity Scripts in Python to test Firewall functionalities and protocols, built a System Testbed with multiple firewalls and tools to reproduce customer issues, and created a SDN setup to validate integration with Dell-Sonicwall Firewall.

Saravanan Babu completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the College of Engineering, Guindy, Anna University, Chennai, India, from 1994 to 1998. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the Southern Methodist University from 1998 to 2000.
