Andy Anderson

Andy Anderson, PMP has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Andy started their career in 1997 at South Dakota Air National Guard where they served as the State Command Chief and later as a member of the Headquarters staff. In 1999, they joined Hutchinson Technology as a Subject Matter Expert, specializing in the SAM and GSAM process. Andy then moved on to SONIFI Solutions, Inc. in 2002, where they held several positions including Systems Testing Engineer II, Senior Project Manager Lead, and Director of Product Management. At SONIFI Health, they served as the Director of Product Management. In 2016, they started their own business, Midwest Wood Creation LLC, where they worked as the Owner and Woodworker. Currently, they are employed at the South Dakota Air National Guard as the State Command Chief. Throughout their career, Andy has demonstrated strong leadership skills and expertise in project management, product management, and process improvement.

Andy Anderson, PMP has a diverse education history. Andy obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Phoenix from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelors of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology from South Dakota State University between 1996 and 2000.

Andy also holds two Associates Degrees from the Community College of the Air Force. Andy acquired an Associates Degree in Information Systems Management and another Associates Degree in Human Resources and Management, both from 2006 to 2008.

Before their university and college education, Andy attended Roosevelt High from 1990 to 1994, although specific details about their degree and field of study from that period are not available.

In addition to their education, Andy has obtained several certifications. Andy became a Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute in June 2011. Andy also holds a Scrum Fundamentals Certified certification from Scrum Fundamentals Certified, obtained in May 2019. Furthermore, they completed the Foundations of Leadership Certificate/Induction from The National Society of Leadership and Success in April 2022.
