Eric Aasen

Eric Aasen has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Eric most recently served as the Senior Director Technology Solutions at SONIFI Solutions, Inc., where they led research, development, and qualification activities for Guest Internet Access (GIA) solutions. Eric also played a vital role in hardware R&D and maintained relationships with design, manufacturing, certification, and component companies. Prior to this, Eric served as the Vice President of Business Development and Vice President of Technology at SONIFI, where they developed collaborative relationships with technology partners and implemented strategies for higher performance and efficiencies across teams and functions. Eric also served as the Director of Product Management, Director of Engineering Projects, and Senior Project Manager at SONIFI, where they managed various projects and provided expertise in areas such as project management, product development, and vendor relationship management. Before joining SONIFI, Eric worked as a Senior Process Engineer at Koch Refining Company.

Eric Aasen attended South Dakota Mines from 1983 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering.
