Jay Fisher

Jay Fisher has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Jay started their career as an Investment Analyst at Wells Capital Management, where they monitored and traded bonds. After that, they worked as a Product Manager at Yellow Dart Industries, focusing on product research and development. Later, they joined Meta Payment Systems as a Senior Product Manager, where they launched their first EMV product and mobile application, and then became the Director of Product Technology, leading the consolidation of multiple platforms into a single consumer experience platform. Currently, they are the Director of Product Management at SONIFI Solutions, Inc., overseeing their B2B2C product platform for the hospitality industry and driving cross-functional product delivery restructuring. Throughout their career, Jay has demonstrated strong leadership and product management skills, successfully launching new products and implementing innovative strategies.

Jay Fisher has a strong educational background in economics, mathematics, and physics. Jay obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Applied Economics from the University of North Dakota, completing their studies from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree, with a major in Mathematics and a minor in Physics, from the same university. Jay'sundergraduate education took place from 2004 to 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Jay Fisher has also pursued various professional certifications. These include being certified as a Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) in March 2021, achieving Pragmatic Marketing Certified - Level III (PMC-III) in July 2016 from Pragmatic Marketing, obtaining the New Product Development Professional (NPDP) certification from the Product Development and Management Association (PDMA) in March 2014, and becoming a Project Management Professional (PMP)® through the Project Management Institute, also in March 2014. Jay further expanded their skillset with the completion of AWS Cloud Essentials for Business Leaders, offered by Amazon Web Services (AWS), in July 2023.
