Teresa Brasac has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Teresa began their career as an Oncology nurse at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in 1994. Teresa then joined Catholic Hospice as the Director of Specialty Services in 1994 and worked there until 2006. In 2006, they moved to Greystone Healthcare Management as a Nurse Liaison for a year. From 2007 onwards, they had a significant tenure at Hill-Rom, where they held various positions, including Account Clinical Director, Account Executive, Director of Strategic Solutions, and Vice President of Clinical Informatics. In 2021, they transitioned to Baxter International Inc. as the Vice President of Clinical Informatics, a role they held until 2022. Currently, they serve as the Chief Clinical and Informatics Officer at Sonitor, starting in 2023.

Teresa Brasac has a diverse education history. Teresa earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Florida International University - College of Business in 2019. Prior to that, they completed their PhD in Nursing from Barry University in 2013. In 2002, they obtained their Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree, specializing as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP), from Florida International University. Teresa began their nursing education by earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from Florida International University in 2000. Additionally, they attained an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree from Miami Dade College in 1994. Teresa has also pursued further certifications, including a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Florida International University in 2019, as well as being certified as a Registered Nurse and an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner by the State of Florida.
