Tony Simmons has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. In 1998, they began their career as a Commercial Lawyer at MinterEllison, where they worked until 2001. Tony then moved on to BT, where they served as a Commercial Lawyer until 2004. Following that, Tony joined Telstra as a Commercial Lawyer for a brief period before founding Full Circle Australia in 2005, where they served as the Founder & CEO until 2015.
In 2014, Tony took on the role of Executive Director at JCurve Solutions, where they stayed until 2015. In 2016, they co-founded and became the CEO of Lithodomos, a global content library for tourism and education. Tony also founded Mktplace Ventures in the same year, serving as the Founder & CEO for pre-seed/seed technology and software incubation.
In 2019, Tony expanded their expertise by launching Disciplinn, a podcast for business leaders and entrepreneurs. Currently, they are thriving as the Founder & CEO of Sonnant, a platform that assists broadcasters, podcasters, and radio stations in extracting maximum value from their audio and video content.
Tony Simmons attended Prince Alfred College from 1983 to 1992. Tony then went on to study at the University of Adelaide from 1993 to 1995, pursuing a degree in Economics with a focus on Statistics, Commerce, Accounting, European & American History, and Philosophy. From 1995 to 1998, Tony attended Bond University, where they obtained an LLB (Hons.) BComm degree, specializing in Commerce with a major in Marketing and Law.
