Juan Pizarro

Juan Pizarro is a seasoned professional in electrical engineering with extensive experience in project engineering and interconnections. Currently serving as Team Leader Project Engineering at Sonnedix since June 2022, Juan previously held the position of Especialista de Interconexiones at Enel Green Power Chile y Países Andinos from September 2015 to June 2022. Prior positions include Jefe de Subestaciones at GTD Ingenieros Consultores Ltda, where project development involved high voltage substations and lines; Ingeniero SCADA at CDEC-SIC; and Aplicación Engineer at ABB, focusing on the design and commissioning of high and medium voltage protection systems. Additional roles include consulting at the Instituto Nacional de Estadísticas de Chile and a planning internship at Chilectra. Juan earned a degree in Civil Electrical Engineering, specializing in Power Systems, from Universidad de Santiago de Chile between 1999 and 2005.
