Christian Campestrini

Christian Campestrini is an experienced professional in the field of energy storage and battery technology, currently serving as the Director of Energy Storage at sonnen GmbH since October 2017. Previous roles include Manager of Battery Development and Senior R&D Engineer for Battery Technology, where responsibilities encompassed the development of Battery Management Systems (BMS), hardware development for BMS, and the establishment of battery laboratories. Prior to sonnen, Christian held the position of Scientific Researcher at the Technical University of Munich, contributing to various projects and leading teams focused on battery management systems. Earlier career experiences include software and hardware development roles at LION Smart GmbH, internships in electrical engineering, and hands-on training in electronics. Christian earned a Doctorate in Electrical Engineering and Electronics from the Technical University of Munich, following a Diplom degree in the same field.
