Sven Böhme

Sven Böhme has a diverse work experience in energy and trading. Sven currently holds the position of Head of Energy & Flexibility Trading Germany at sonnen GmbH since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at sonnen eServices GmbH where they served as a Manager Energy & Flexibility Trading from 2019 to 2022 and as a Project Manager Energy Economics from 2019 to 2021. Before joining sonnen eServices GmbH, they gained experience at European Energy Exchange AG, where they held various roles including Market Operator Environmental & Emerging Power Markets from 2018 to 2019, Market Operator Developed Power Markets from 2016 to 2017, and worked as a Sales Intern and Working Student from 2013 to 2016. Sven started their career as an Intern in Accounting at KPMG in Deutschland in 2012.

Sven Böhme has a solid educational background in business administration and economics. Sven obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Economic Sciences from Leipzig University, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Business Administration with a focus on Energy Economy from Technische Universität Dresden, completing their studies from 2013 to 2016.

Furthermore, Sven Böhme expanded their knowledge and skills through additional certifications. In January 2022, they successfully completed the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) Academy - Foundations program offered by Pexapark. This was followed by their completion of the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) Academy - Advanced in April 2022, demonstrating their commitment to gaining expertise in this field.
