Mathew Cocksey

Mathew Cocksey is the Director of Purchasing at Sono Motors. Mathew has over 9 years of experience in supply chain and purchasing, and has been with Sono Motors since January 2018. Prior to joining Sono Motors, Cocksey worked as a supply chain and purchasing consultant for IPTT Ltd., a joint venture between Magna International and Integral Powertrain Ltd. Mathew was responsible for direct and strategic procurement, approved suppliers, supply chain management, buyer strategic and non strategic, ERP and MRP implementation, process and people management, production and logistics, BOM control, estimating and costing. Cocksey has also worked as an assistant project manager at Intrinsys, providing project management services for a multi million pound aerospace investment by Airbus. Mathew has also worked as a process manager at BMW Group UK Limited.

They are on a team with Dr. Gerd Pfeiffer - Head of Supply Chain, Jan Schiermeister - Head of Engineering Complete Vehicle, and Christian Scheckenbach - Head of PR & Communications. Their manager is Laurin Hahn, CEO & Co-Founder.
