Nazhar A.

Nazhar A. currently serves as the Chief Business Officer at Sonocharge Energy since January 2024. Prior to this role, Nazhar held the position of Director for Emerging Technologies at Temasek from September 2020 to October 2023, focusing on investments in decarbonization deep tech. From July 2018 to September 2020, Nazhar was VP of New Enterprises & Ventures at ST Engineering, leading M&A and joint ventures in the US and EU markets. Nazhar's extensive experience at Applied Materials included various leadership roles in new product development and strategy, contributing to groundbreaking projects and securing significant funding. Additional contributions to industry development were made as an Executive Committee Member at the Singapore Semiconductor Industry Association and as Assistant Head at the Singapore Economic Development Board. Nazhar holds a BSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Computer Science from Cornell University and completed executive programs at Stanford University and the National University of Singapore.
