Ernesto Hurtado

Ernesto Hurtado is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in the packaging industry, particularly in the food and pharmaceutical sectors. Currently serving as Director of RPP Mexico at Sonoco since January 1995, Ernesto has focused on new business development and strategic planning. Previously, Ernesto held the position of Director of RPC Mexico, where responsibilities included achieving sales and profit budgets, managing working capital, and driving organizational development. Ernesto's career at Sonoco began with a role in new business development for Latin America, following a tenure as General Director at Sonoco Venezuela. Ernesto holds an MBA in International Business from the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business and a Master’s degree in Marketing from Universidad Iberoamericana.
