Matthew Daly

Matthew Daly CFE has extensive experience in operations, project management, and event planning. Matthew most recently served as the Chief Operations Officer at Sonoma County Event Center at the Fairgrounds since April 2022. Prior to that, they were the Director of Operations at SOUTH FLORIDA FAIR AND PALM BEACH COUNTY EXPO, INC from July 2015 to April 2022. Matthew'sresponsibilities included developing strategic business initiatives, managing operating budgets, and overseeing all phases of the business. Before that, they worked as the Facilities Superintendent at the North Carolina State Fair from May 2003 to July 2015, where they directed teams in event management and customer service. Additionally, Matthew has experience as the Director of Manufacturing at Fabricore Incorporated from January 1997 to May 2003, where they managed a full trades shop and built custom automated fiber equipment.

Matthew Daly CFE has a comprehensive educational background that includes a range of disciplines. Matthew attended Pennsylvania College of Technology from 1989 to 1991, where they pursued an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) in Electronics and Computer Engineering Technology. Following this, from 1992 to 1994, they enrolled at Penn Capital Financial and completed a Series 6 and 7 Brokerage License, focusing on Business and Finance. In their pursuit of further education, they enrolled in Capella University, where they are expected to graduate in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BBA), specializing in Business Administration and Management, General.
