Sonoma RCPA
Anna Oliva is currently a BayREN Program Specialist at the Sonoma County Transportation Authority and Regional Climate Protection Authority, focusing on educating local government staff about energy and water efficiency programs. Prior to this role, Anna was a Climate Corps Fellow with the City of San Rafael, where work centered on zero waste and circular economy initiatives. Additional experience includes a fellowship as a Zero Waste Business and Community Outreach Fellow with the City of San Rafael, research at the University of Oregon as an ESPRIT Undergraduate Researcher, and a position as a Floral Assistant at Green Bouquet Floral Design. Anna holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Multidisciplinary Science from the University of Oregon and a high school diploma from Marin Catholic.

Sonoma RCPA
The Regional Climate Protection Authority (RCPA) was formed in 2009 through locally sponsored State legislation to coordinate countywide climate protection efforts among Sonoma County’s nine cities and multiple county agencies. The RCPA coordinates climate protection activities countywide and performs a variety of important related functions including advocacy, project management, planning, finance, grant administration, and research.
