Seana Gause has extensive experience in environmental planning and project management, currently serving as a Senior in Programming and Projects at the Sonoma County Transportation Authority since December 2005. Prior to this role, Seana worked as an Associate Environmental Planner - Archaeologist for the California Department of Transportation from October 1998 to November 2005, where duties included coordinating environmental studies and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Additionally, Seana was the NAGPRA Manager at the Anthropological Studies Center at Sonoma State University from 1992 to 1998, overseeing compliance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act. Seana holds a Master’s degree in Cultural Resources Management from Sonoma State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology, with a focus on Archaeology, from the University of California, Davis.

Sonoma RCPA

The Regional Climate Protection Authority (RCPA) was formed in 2009 through locally sponsored State legislation to coordinate countywide climate protection efforts among Sonoma County’s nine cities and multiple county agencies. The RCPA coordinates climate protection activities countywide and performs a variety of important related functions including advocacy, project management, planning, finance, grant administration, and research.
