Mike Kiraly

Lecturer, Political Science at Sonoma Small Business Development Center

Mike Kiraly is an experienced educator and professional with a long-standing career in academia and public service. Currently serving as a part-time lecturer in Political Science at both Santa Rosa Junior College and Napa Valley College since 2005 and 1997, respectively, Mike Kiraly teaches courses on topics such as American Government and International Political Economy. Prior to these roles, Mike Kiraly held the position of Director of Library Operations at Sonoma State University for nearly 30 years and worked as a Senior Legal Analyst at the California Department of Justice. Mike Kiraly's military experience includes service as a Radioman in the United States Navy. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in History and English, both from Sonoma State University.

The Sonoma SBDC offers one-on-one high-quality, professional expert advising in the areas of business planning, financial and lending assistance, manufacturing, marketing, recordkeeping, human resources, ecommerce and more. As a result of the no cost, extensive, one-on-one professional business advising, low-cost training SBDC clients receive, the program is one of the nation’s largest small business assistance programs in the federal government.
