Ian Carlson

Ian Carlson has extensive experience in web development and solutions architecture. Ian currently works as a Lead Web Developer at Sonoma State University. Prior to this, they worked as a Web Developer at the same institution.

Before joining Sonoma State University, Ian launched their own web development consulting company called Xantek Inc. Ian served as the President and Lead Solutions Architect, providing strategic software architecture and eCommerce solutions. Ian was responsible for designing and managing customized application integration and server migration projects for clients.

Ian also has experience at Typography Express, Inc., where they worked as Vice President. In this role, they provided ISP tech support, performed full-stack development, and managed servers. Ian also built a custom e-commerce solution to support the company's digital growth.

Additionally, Ian has worked at the University of California, San Francisco as a Data Server Solution Consultant. Here, they automated data collection processes and optimized data delivery. Ian also played a role in spec'ing and installing Dell hardware and configuring Linux operating systems.

Overall, Ian has a strong background in web development, solutions architecture, and data management.

Ian Carlson attended Santa Rosa Junior College from 1998 to 2001, where they studied Computer Science.
