Mark Stapp

Mark Stapp has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Mark is currently serving as a Santa Rosa City Council Member since December 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at Sonoma State University starting from March 2015. Before that, they worked at the San Francisco Zoo as the Deputy Director of Development from April 2012 to March 2015. Mark also served as the Director of MAA Operations at Paradigm Healthcare Services from October 2005 to November 2011. Mark'scareer began at Logistics.com (now Manhattan Associates) where they worked as a Systems Analyst/Integration Engineer from September 1996 to September 2001.

Mark Stapp has an Education history that includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion from Williams College, which they obtained from 1992 to 1996. Mark further pursued their education at the University of Chicago, where they completed a Master of Divinity degree in Religion/Religious Studies from 1998 to 2000. Mark Stapp later went on to earn a Ph.D. in Theology from the University of Chicago, completing their doctoral studies from 2000 to 2009.
