Daniel Casner

Daniel Casner is a highly experienced engineering professional with a strong background in product development and technology management. Currently serving as Principal Product Engineer at Sonos, Inc., Daniel maximizes customer value through strategic alignment of technology and product roadmaps while mentoring technical project managers and engineering leads. Previous positions include Senior Hardware Engineer at Anki, Inc., where Daniel led the architecture and production of consumer robots, and Senior Member of Technical Staff at Sandia National Laboratories, focusing on aerospace projects. Daniel’s extensive experience also includes roles at Anybots Inc, Miller Electric Mfg. Co., and research affiliations with JGI and MBARI. Daniel holds an MS in Computer and Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a BA in Physics, Computer Science, and Japanese from Lawrence University.
