Kenneth Greenberg has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Kenneth is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of SonoThera, a position they have held since June 2022. Previously, they served as the Senior Director of External Innovation DPDS at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson from April 2021 to June 2022.
From 2018 to 2020, Greenberg worked at UNITY Biotechnology, first as the Senior Director of Frontier Biology and later as the Director of Frontier Biology. Prior to that, they were involved in multiple biotech startups, including Oncorus, Inc. and CODA Biotherapeutics, where they co-founded the companies and held senior leadership positions.
Kenneth'searlier career includes serving as the Chief Scientific Officer at Eos Neuroscience and co-founding Spiral Devices LLC, where they also held the role of Chief Scientific Officer. Greenberg also worked as a Scientific Consultant at Eos Neuroscience and conducted postdoctoral research at UC Berkeley in MCB Neurobiology. Kenneth obtained their PhD in Visual Neuroscience & MCB from UC Berkeley and worked as a Research Specialist in HIV immunology and gene therapy development at Emory University School of Medicine.
Kenneth Greenberg obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Genetics from The University of Georgia from 1993 to 1997. Kenneth then pursued further education and completed their Ph.D. in Visual Neuroscience at the University of California, Berkeley, from 2001 to 2007.
