Alanna Pouw

Alanna Pouw (Kirchner), P.Eng, currently serves as a Senior Software Requirements Engineer at Sonova Group since August 2021, having previously held the role of Software Requirements Engineer. Prior experience includes a position as Regulatory Manager for Medical Devices and Director of Project Management - Product Development at Smarter Alloys, along with roles as a Product Development Project Manager. Alanna's earlier career features experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Trudell Medical International, where design controls were implemented and a novel medical device for high-altitude sleep apnea was developed. Additional experience includes a role as R & D Student Engineer at CardioMed Supplies Inc. and planning for West Nile Virus monitoring with the Regional Municipality of Durham. Alanna holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Guelph.
