Alexandre Bernardes

Alexandre Bernardes has a diverse work experience in various roles related to supply chain management and production planning. Their most recent position was as Operations Director at Sonova Group starting in 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Owens Illinois from 2008 to 2019, where they held the role of Supply Chain Manager for Brazil and Argentina. During their time at Owens Illinois, they implemented S&OP and IBP processes, achieved significant cost savings through various initiatives, and led the creation of an Integrated Planning Team. Before Owens Illinois, Alexandre held positions at companies such as Akzo Nobel, ARTEB, TRW Automotive Ltda, Illbruck Sealant Systems, and Sulzer, where they gained valuable experience in production planning and engineering.

Alexandre Bernardes, CSCP has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Centro Universitário do Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia (1996-2002). Alexandre also holds a Graduate Degree in Production Management from FEI (2005-2007) and an International Executive MBA from FIA - Fundação Instituto de Administração (2014-2015). In addition, they obtained the APICS-CSCP Certified Supply Chain Professional certification from the Association for Supply Chain Management in October 2021.
