Hans-Ueli Roeck has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Hans-Ueli started their career as a HW development engineer at Zellweger Uster AG in 1988. Hans-Ueli then moved on to Sulzer Electronics AG as a Manager of HW development from 1993 to 1997. In 1997, they joined Phonak AG where they held various positions, including Manager DSP SW and Director Hearing Instrument SW, responsible for DSP algorithms and embedded SW platform development. In 2014, Roeck joined Sonova Group as Director of Key Technologies, where they were involved in trend scouting and technology assessments. Hans-Ueli later became a Principal Expert System Performance/New Business Solution Expert and is currently serving as a Senior Director of New Business Scape Expert at Sonova Group.
Hans-Ueli Roeck holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Fachhochschule Winterthur (TWI), which they obtained from 1985 to 1988. Hans-Ueli further pursued their education at the University of Rhode Island, where they completed a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 1991 to 1992. Recently, in 2018, they attended FHS St.Gallen University of Applied Sciences for CAS Corporate Innovation Management.
