Jana Besser

Jana Besser currently serves as the Senior Director of R&D at Sonova Group, where responsibilities include strategic and operational development for the R&D department, workforce planning, and establishing a leadership culture aligned with company values. Previous roles at Sonova Group encompass R&D People Lead & Coach and Manager of Service Delivery Innovation, focusing on talent development, performance management, and the extension of audiological treatment portfolios. Prior to this, Jana held a postdoctoral fellowship in Natural Language Processing at the University of Toronto and completed a PhD in Cognitive Hearing Science at VU medisch centrum, alongside multiple publications in scientific journals.
