Jeff Fitzgerald

Jeff Fitzgerald has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Senior Software Engineer at Sonrai Security since 2023. Prior to that, from 2012 to 2023, they worked at Salesforce where they held various positions. As a Principal Software Engineer, they led and expanded data ingestion capabilities for Salesforce Data Cloud, overseeing a team of 15 engineers. Jeff also designed and implemented a Java framework used by 90 engineers for building REST APIs. Additionally, they modernized Radian6 APIs as a Senior Software Engineer.

Before joining Salesforce, Jeff worked at Teledyne Geospatial from 1998 to 2012. During this time, they held the role of Senior Software Developer and was responsible for designing and launching a Java API for web mapping services. Jeff also worked as a Software Developer, consulting with clients and customizing web mapping applications.

Jeff's career began in 1997 when they worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Waterloo.

Jeff Fitzgerald completed their Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature/Letters at the University of New Brunswick from 1991 to 1996. Jeff then pursued a Master's degree at the University of Waterloo from 1996 to 1997, although their field of study is not specified. Additionally, Jeff has obtained several certifications, including AWS Fundamentals and Programming with Google Go from Coursera in March 2023, Go: The Complete Developer's Guide (Golang) from Udemy in February 2023, and Architecting with Google Cloud Platform Specialization and Developing Applications with Google Cloud Platform Specialization from Coursera in September 2018.
