Larry Wong

Larry Wong is a seasoned professional in the field of immunology, currently serving as a Senior Application Scientist at Sony Biotechnology Inc. since August 2021, where responsibilities include creating customer-facing materials for a spectral flow cytometer and conducting sample preparation for customer demonstrations and internal training. Prior to this role, Larry worked as a Senior Scientist at Bio-Rad Laboratories from August 2018 to August 2021, collaborating with marketing teams to execute experiments that generated data for promotional materials and engaging with customers for feedback. Larry's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Immunology from Northwestern University, and extensive research experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow at City of Hope and Northwestern University, focusing on cancer immunotherapy and pain mechanisms in autoimmune prostatitis, respectively. Larry began the academic journey at UCLA, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics.
