Herat Acharya

Herat Acharya has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Herat began their career as a Software Engineer at Infosys, where they worked on complex inter-banking payment systems and was a member of the development team for Finacle. After that, they joined TIBCO Software as a Software Engineer Intern, where they gained experience in creating user interfaces and implementing technologies like JET and Xpand. Herat then joined Taulia Inc. as a Jr. Software Engineer, where they worked on various aspects of software development, including frontend, backend, and database using technologies like Groovy, Grails, MySQL, MongoDB, Spring, and Hibernate.

Next, Herat joined Symantec as a Software Engineer, where they worked on designing and implementing features for the Symantec eDiscovery enterprise product. Herat Acharya completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electronics and Telecommunications at the University of Mumbai from 2003 to 2007. Later, from 2009 to 2011, they pursued a Masters degree in Computer Science at the University at Buffalo. In addition to their formal education, Herat Acharya obtained a certification in Blockchain Specialization from Coursera in August 2021.
