Iris L. has diverse work experience in various industries such as technology, education, and accounting. Iris is currently working as a Software Engineer at Sony Interactive Entertainment since 2022.

Prior to this, Iris worked as an Infrastructure Support Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder from September 2021 to May 2022. In this role, they were responsible for maintaining a web application used by researchers and proposed new features to enhance user experience. Iris managed a team of 5 researchers and collaborated with over 15 others to efficiently curate 11 complex schemas. Iris gained skills in JavaScript, React, and Flask during their time in this position.

Before joining the university, they had a Video Software Internship at Spectrum from June 2021 to August 2021.

Iris L. completed their Bachelor's degree in Statistics and Japanese from UCLA, from the years 2015 to 2019. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Computational Linguistics, Analytics, Search, and Informatics from the University of Colorado Boulder, which lasted from 2020 to 2022. Additionally, they obtained certifications in HTML Essential Training and Learning React.js from LinkedIn in February and March 2022, respectively.
