Kenichi Imai has extensive work experience in the technology industry, particularly with Sony and its subsidiaries. Kenichi joined Sony in 1993 as an Engineer, focusing on audio signal processing and contributing to projects such as CD sound quality improvement and object-based music distribution technology. In 2000, they transitioned to Sony Computer Entertainment, where they held various roles over the years, including Engineer, Director, Senior Director, and ultimately Vice President from 2010 until 2021. In April 2021, they joined Sony Interactive Entertainment as the Deputy Head of the Software Engineering Group.
